Best Urologist in Mymensingh - Book Appointment
Some Evenings, the Water Simply Will Not Come
I am sixty-four, and for thirty-eight years I taught boys their lessons at a madrasa here in Mymensingh. Retirement has slowed my days down. My body has its own ideas in the evening. Some evenings I stand at the toilet and wait, and no urine comes at all. I strain until my shoulders shake. When it finally starts, it stops again halfway. Afterwards a dragging ache sits low in my belly for an hour or more, as if something heavy is pulling down inside.
My grandson stays with us while he studies, and he is the one who noticed. He had seen me come back from the toilet holding my belly one night too many. The next morning he took me to our own doctor in town. The doctor listened to the whole story without hurrying me. He asked about my nights, looked through the reports from my earlier visits, and pressed my lower belly gently. Then he explained where I should go next. A urologist, he said, is the doctor whose work is the passages that carry urine out of the body. In a man, he added, the low parts connected with passing urine fall under that same care.
That evening my grandson searched DoctorBD24 and opened the page of doctors practising in Mymensingh. We read names and chamber times side by side and settled on one. The visit is already behind me now.

Telling It from the Start
The urologist did not reach for my file first. He wanted it from the very first evening. Which evenings are worst. How long I stand before anything begins. Whether the ache stays once I am back in bed. My grandson sat beside me and filled the gaps, including the night I rose four times before dawn.
Reports Read Before Any Advice
Only when I fell silent did he open the bundle I had carried in. He read my earlier reports page by page, oldest first. Twice he went back over the same sheet. His judgement waited until the bundle closed. At the end he said what the reports suggested, and what they could not yet say.
A Hand on My Lower Belly
He asked me to lie back and pressed my lower belly gently with the flat of his hand. Is the heaviness from the bad evenings sitting right there, he asked. It was. He said the examination and the reports pointed the same way.
The Plan He Wrote
He gave me one medicine of his own, to be taken exactly as his line says. Fresh reports after some weeks, then I return and he reads old and new side by side. If an operation is ever the answer, he will tell me himself. If this belongs to another specialist, he will say so.
My Old Lines Untouched
Our own doctor has had me on two medicines for a long while. Not one line of that writing was crossed out or changed. Those carry on exactly as written. His own medicine sits apart, on its own line.
Scrolling While We Waited
At the end we waited while his assistant wrote up my papers. My grandson handed me his phone, and I passed the minutes scrolling through the general surgeons listed for Mymensingh. Then my name was called, and we went home.
Before We Left, I Asked
Why does the stream stop halfway?
He said the stopping and the slow starting belong to one picture. Fresh reports would show more; he would rather wait than guess.
Is straining harmful?
He told me not to force my body while waiting for things to begin. Beyond that, let the plan run.
Why wait weeks for fresh reports?
Reports done today would look much like the ones in my bundle, he said. A gap of weeks lets any change stand out.
Could an operation come later?
Some men with trouble like mine need one, he said, and many never do. He will judge from the reports, not from fear.
Why do I rise on easier nights too?
He wrote that down too. The return visit will set nights and evenings beside the reports.
What means hospital the same day?
If no urine comes at all and my lower belly swells and aches, I go the same day. A fever with shaking, and pain in my back or my side, means the same. Urine thick with blood, when passing turns into a struggle, means that day too. And severe pain low in my belly or my groin that will not ease cannot be waited out at home.
