Best Urologist in Cox's Bazar - Book Appointment
Holding On Through Every Shift Until My Lower Belly Ached
I am forty-one and I work at a hotel in Cox's Bazar, at the front desk and in housekeeping during busy weeks. On duty I cannot slip away whenever the urge comes, so I hold my urine for hours at a stretch. By the end of a shift my lower belly aches, dull and heavy. Then in the evening I pass urine again and again, a little each time, and some days it looks cloudy.
One evening my wife counted and told me I had gone six times since coming home. Next morning she took me to our own doctor. He heard me out, looked through my earlier reports, and said a urologist should see me. He explained that a urologist is the doctor for the passages that carry urine out of the body. He looks after the low parts joined with those passages too.
On my weekly day off, my wife and I searched DoctorBD24 on her phone. We went through the doctors directory for Cox's Bazar slowly, name by name, and picked a chamber near the hotel road. We chose a time that fell between my shifts. Two days later I was there, telling the urologist about my working days.

Holding On Through Every Shift Until My Lower Belly Ached
He Asked How My Shifts Really Run
His first questions were about my work, not my body. How long did I hold on during a shift? When did the belly ache begin, and when did it fade? How many times did I go after reaching home? He asked how much water I drank on duty too. I had never connected the questions until he laid them out.
Reports First, Then a Hand on My Belly
He read my earlier reports page by page before saying anything about treatment. Then he pressed my lower belly gently, asking if the heaviness matched what I felt after a shift. He explained what the reports and his examination suggested, in plain words. There was no rushing and no frightening talk.
While the Plan Was Being Written Out
I waited in the corridor while his assistant wrote out my papers. With nothing to do, I opened the general surgeon listings for Cox's Bazar on my phone and drifted through the names. My wife laughed at me reading doctor lists like news. It passed the wait, nothing more.
The Plan He Gave Me
The medicines our own doctor had given me were left exactly as they stood. He did not scratch out a single line of that page. His own medicine was written fresh on his own sheet, its own line, to be taken exactly as written. I will return after some weeks, with fresh reports done before the visit. If an operation was ever needed, he said, he would tell me himself.
Things I Wanted to Know
Is holding on through shifts part of this?
He said long holding could not be kept apart from the ache and the evening trips. He wanted the reports read alongside my shift pattern before he judged anything.
Why does the ache arrive by shift's end?
He noted the timing, because when pain arrives tells its own part of the story. I am to mark the bad days on a calendar for the next visit.
Why does my urine look cloudy some days?
He said the cloudy look was one more thing the fresh reports would speak about. He would not guess at it. I should notice which days it happened and tell him honestly.
Can I keep working my normal shifts?
He did not ask me to leave my job. He asked me to note the longest stretches without a toilet break. The plan would be shaped around real days, not guesses.
What did he do with my own doctor's medicines?
He left every line of them standing. His own medicine lives on his own sheet, separate from the other page. He leaves another doctor's page as he finds it, he said; his changes go on his own sheet.
What trouble means hospital, not the next visit?
If urine stops coming altogether and the lower belly blows up tight with pain, I go the same day. A fever that shakes me, with pain settling in my back or side, is another call. Urine that comes out thick with blood while I strain to pass it cannot wait either. Nor can a deep pain low in the belly or groin that will not settle.
