The journey of Bangladesh ENT Hospital began in 1997 under the leadership of Prof. Mohammad Abdullah, Prof. A. F. Mohiuddin Khan, Dr. Salehuddin Sayeed, and Dr. Bulbul, with Prof. M. A. Majed serving as the chairman. In 1998, Prof. Md. Zillur Rahman, Prof. Khorshed Alam Majumder, and Dr. M.A. Jalil joined the team, followed by Dr. Ahmed Raquib, Dr. Md. Abbas Uddin, and Dr. Abu Kaiser. Initially, the hospital operated from a rented house on Satmasjid Road with limited space and facilities, but the founders had a clear vision: to establish a fully equipped, modern hospital specializing in ENT and Head Neck Surgery.
Over the years, the hospital moved through four different locations within the Dhanmondi Residential Area, and it was renamed Bangladesh ENT Hospital. Finally, on November 1st, 2015, the hospital found its permanent home at its own premises, covering an area of 14,300 sq. ft. The new facility is centrally air-conditioned, offering a comfortable and accessible environment for both patients and surgeons.
Today, Bangladesh ENT Hospital is a leading private facility specializing in ENT, with a dedicated team of fifty renowned consultants in various fields, including ENT, anaesthesia, cancer care, maxillofacial & dental surgery, neurosurgery, and gynecology & obstetrics. The hospital has earned a stellar reputation in ENT and related disciplines, with its team of specialists recognized for their expertise and commitment to high-quality patient care.
