Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College & Hospital

Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College (Bengali: শহীদ জিয়াউর রহমান মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল) is a prominent government medical school in Bangladesh, established in 1992. Located in Bogura town, it is affiliated with the University of Rajshahi and offers a comprehensive 5-year MBBS program. Upon graduation, students must complete a one-year internship, which is mandatory for obtaining the degree, which is recognized by the Bangladesh Medical and Dental Council (BMDC).

The college’s affiliated hospital has a total floor space of 91,922.02 square meters and a 500-bed capacity, with an additional 200-300 extra beds. The facilities are divided between the College building, which houses preclinical and para-clinical disciplines, and the Hospital building, where clinical disciplines are taught.
