Shaheed Shaikh Abu-Naser Specialized Hospital in Khulna is a 250-bed multidisciplinary tertiary care hospital located at the gateway of Khulna city. The hospital is named after Sheikh Abu-Naser, the younger brother of the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The foundation stone for the hospital was laid by the honorable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Sheikh Hasina, on 12th September 1998. Sheikh Hasina, the niece of Sheikh Abu-Naser, played a pivotal role in bringing this vision to life.

The hospital was established with the aim of providing specialized medical services to the people of the southwestern part of the country, all under one roof. It’s a place where top-quality healthcare services are offered to meet the needs of the community, with a commitment to enhancing the well-being of all patients.
