An Ultrasonogram of the HBS (Hepatobiliary System) and Pelvic Organs is a non-invasive imaging test that uses sound waves to create detailed pictures of the liver, gallbladder, bile ducts, and pelvic organs, including the bladder and reproductive structures. This test helps in diagnosing conditions such as liver disease, gallstones, and abnormalities in the pelvic area by providing real-time images without the need for radiation. During the procedure, a gel is applied to the skin, and a small handheld device called a transducer is moved over the area to capture the necessary images.
