SSF from Breast

Test Details & Description

The SSF from Breast, or Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsy, is a procedure used to determine whether breast cancer has spread to nearby lymph nodes. During this test, a small amount of radioactive material and/or dye is injected near the tumor site to identify the first lymph node that drains the breast area. This node is then surgically removed and examined for cancer cells, helping to guide treatment decisions.
