Repetitive Nerve Stimulation (RNS) is a diagnostic test that assesses the function of your nerves and muscles by measuring their response to a series of electrical impulses. During the test, small electrodes are placed on your skin over the nerve being examined, and you may be asked to perform a simple task, such as contracting a muscle, to evaluate the electrical activity and detect any abnormalities that may indicate conditions like myasthenia gravis or other neuromuscular disorders.
