ERCP, or Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangiopancreatography, is a specialized procedure that combines endoscopy and fluoroscopy to diagnose and treat conditions of the bile ducts and pancreas. During the procedure, a thin, flexible tube with a camera is inserted through the mouth and into the digestive tract to locate and remove stones obstructing the bile ducts, allowing for relief of symptoms and restoration of normal bile flow.
