MRV of IVC & Renal Vein

The MRV of the inferior vena cava (IVC) and renal vein is a specialized imaging test that uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to visualize the blood vessels in the abdomen, specifically focusing on the IVC and the renal veins. This non-invasive procedure helps doctors assess blood flow, detect any blockages or abnormalities, and evaluate conditions related to kidney function or vascular health. During the test, you will lie on a table that slides into the MRI machine, and you may be asked to hold your breath briefly while images are taken.
