Pabna Medical College & Hospital

Pabna Medical College & Hospital was established in 2008 with the goal of meeting the basic medical needs of the people of Pabna district and beyond. Initially, classes began in 2009 in the temporary cottages of the Pabna Mental Hospital.

In 2015, the modern six-story academic building was inaugurated by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, marking a significant milestone in the college’s development. To accommodate the growing number of students, separate hostels for both boys and girls were under construction in 2018, ensuring that the facilities could support the increasing intake of medical students each year.

Additionally, the preliminary work for creating a 500-bed hospital has been completed, and plans for further expansion are underway to enhance healthcare services for the community. With these developments, Pabna Medical College & Hospital continues to evolve as a leading institution, providing quality medical education and healthcare services to the region.
