National Institute of Kidney Diseases & Urology
The National Institute of Kidney Diseases & Urology (NIKDU) was established to address the growing need for better treatment facilities for patients suffering from kidney and urological diseases, as well as those requiring dialysis and transplantation. The need for such an institute became clear due to the insufficient treatment options available at the time.
The project is fully financed by the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, reflecting the government’s commitment to improving healthcare services for kidney and urological patients across the country. NIKDU aims to provide specialized care, advanced treatments, and much-needed support to patients facing these critical health challenges.
