Mugda Medical College & Hospital

Mugda Medical College & Hospital is a public medical school and a 500-bed healthcare facility located in Dhaka. Initially built as a general hospital, it was later transformed into a full-fledged medical college. The construction of the facility began in 2006, and the hospital opened in July 2013, with patient admissions starting in early 2014. The hospital occupies a 13-story building spread across 9.5 acres of land.

Mugda Medical College & Hospital is the fourth government medical college within the Dhaka metropolitan area. Regular MBBS classes commenced from January 2016, marking the start of its academic journey.
