Mothers and their newborn babies are cared for within the same institute, which allows their progress to be reviewed together.

Paediatric surgery is available for conditions arising before birth or during childhood, with anaesthesiology support for operations involving children and mothers. Laboratory medicine tests blood and other samples inside the institute, and radiology and imaging support clinical assessment. Blood transfusion support is also part of the hospital services provided here.

A human milk bank is not in operation here, and dialysis is not provided. There is no general intensive care unit for older children or adults, and CT and MRI are not provided as services at this institute.
