Welcome to Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences General Hospital. Bangladesh Diabetic Somity (BADAS) has earned international recognition for its innovative diabetes healthcare model, known as the Ibrahim Model. Recently, the efforts of BADAS have made significant progress with the launch of a large-scale initiative, the Health Care Development Project (HCDP). This project is supported by the Government of Bangladesh, the Dutch Government, and a consortium of local banks.

Bangladesh Institute of Health Sciences (BIHS) serves as the apex institute of the HCDP and operates its associated hospital, BIHS General Hospital. BIHS is dedicated to providing high-quality inpatient and outpatient care, along with diagnostic services, all at reasonable costs.

To expand its diabetes and general healthcare services, BIHS General Hospital is conveniently located in Darus Salam, Mirpur-1.
