Ad-din Foundation was founded in 1980 with a mission to serve the underprivileged population of Bangladesh. Its journey began with the establishment of an orphanage in Jessore. Over the past 37 years, Ad-din has grown significantly, introducing a wide range of projects across different regions of the country.

Today, Ad-din operates hospitals in Dhaka, Keranigonj, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, and Postogola. It has also established medical colleges in Dhaka, Jessore, Keranigonj, and Khulna; a nursing college in Dhaka; nursing institutes in Dhaka, Jessore, and Kushtia; as well as a medical technology institute in Jessore. Additional initiatives include mobile eye clinics, maternal and child health programs, obstetric fistula prevention and repair services, and integrated health and microfinance programs with health insurance coverage.

The foundation’s hospitals were created to deliver high-quality healthcare at an affordable cost. Today, Ad-din hospitals are widely recognized for their excellence, affordability, and patient-centered approach.

The Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of Bangladesh has approved several Ad-din medical colleges: Ad-din Women’s Medical College (AWMC) in Dhaka in 2008, Ad-din Sakina Medical College (ASMC) in Jessore in 2012, Bashundhara Ad-din Medical College (BAMC) in Keranigonj in 2013, and Ad-din Akij Medical College (AAMC) in Khulna in 2013.

Ad-din is committed to ensuring high-quality teaching facilities and recruiting experienced faculty members, many of whom are recognized experts in their fields. With its available resources, the organization strives to produce competent medical graduates who excel in clinical practice while remaining mindful of their social responsibilities.
