Dr. Kamrul Islam is a renowned Kidney Transplant Surgeon and Urologist in Bangladesh, widely respected for his extraordinary dedication to patient care. After retiring as an Assistant Professor from the National Institute of Kidney Diseases and Urology in 2011, Dr. Kamrul took a personal initiative to establish CKD & Urology Hospital, which has since become a trusted name among kidney patients across the nation.
For over a decade, he has been performing kidney transplants free of charge, with only a minimal hospital fee of Tk 2,10,000, which covers logistics and support. He also provides free post-operative follow-up care for several months after the surgery.
Under his leadership, Dr. Kamrul and his dedicated team have successfully conducted nearly 1,000 kidney transplants, achieving an impressive 96% success rate, a testament to their skill, integrity, and commitment.
