Dr. Farhana Ahmed

Dr. Farhana Ahmed is a highly qualified clinical and interventional cardiologist in Dhaka, specializing in the treatment of heart diseases, hypertension, heart failure, coronary artery disease, rheumatic heart disease, congenital heart problems, heart rhythm disorders, and chest pain management. She completed her MBBS, followed by FCPS in Medicine and Cardiology, and FSCAI (America), with advanced training in interventional cardiology from Japan, Korea, and India. She is currently working as an Associate Professor in the Department of Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases & Hospital (NICVD), where she is actively involved in teaching and advanced cardiac interventions. Dr. Farhana Ahmed provides specialized consultation and interventional cardiac care at Ibn Sina Specialized Hospital, Dhanmondi, Dhaka, where she sees patients from 5 PM to 9 PM (Saturday to Thursday) and 9 AM to 12 PM (Friday).
