The USG TVS + PVR test, or Ultrasound Transvaginal Scan combined with Post-Void Residual measurement, is a diagnostic procedure used to evaluate the female reproductive organs and assess bladder function. During the test, a small ultrasound probe is gently inserted into the vagina to obtain detailed images of the uterus and ovaries, followed by a measurement of any residual urine in the bladder after urination. This procedure helps in diagnosing conditions such as pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, and urinary issues.
