RADIOLOGY

MRI & MRA of Neck

Test Details & Description

The MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging) and MRA (Magnetic Resonance Angiography) of the neck is a non-invasive imaging test that uses strong magnets and radio waves to create detailed images of the neck's soft tissues, including the spinal cord, muscles, and blood vessels. This test helps doctors diagnose a variety of conditions, such as tumors, vascular abnormalities, and injuries, by providing clear and accurate representations of the structures within the neck. The procedure is painless and typically takes between 30 to 60 minutes, during which you will lie still inside a tube-like machine.
