Prof. Dr. Md. Rafiqul Islam is a distinguished Medicine Specialist based in Dhaka. He holds an MBBS and FCPS and currently serves as Professor and Head of the Department of Medicine at North Bengal Medical College. He is also the former Professor and Head of Medicine at Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College.
Dr. Rafiqul Islam has a special interest in Infectious Diseases, Cardiology, Neurology, Endocrine Disorders (including Diabetes and Thyroid diseases), and Rheumatology. With over 30 scientific publications in national and internationally indexed medical journals, he has also actively participated in numerous scientific seminars, workshops, and conferences both in Bangladesh and abroad.
