Govt Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital
The Govt Homoeopathic Medical College Hospital in Mirpur, Dhaka, was established in 1989 under the Bangladesh Homoeopathic Development Project of 1980. In 1993, it was integrated into the national revenue system as a 100-bed tertiary-level hospital, becoming the first and only government-run homeopathic hospital in Bangladesh.
The hospital offers a variety of services, including outdoor patient (OPD) care, emergency services, and departments for pathology and radiology. It serves a wide range of patients from all over the country, as well as many referred cases from different medical health services, providing specialized treatment through the homeopathic system.
One of the hospital’s unique features is its adherence to the principle of Totality of Symptoms, a core concept in homeopathy, where treatment is tailored to address the complete set of symptoms experienced by the patient. The hospital is equipped with the necessary facilities and conducts investigations as required for diagnosis. Additionally, it offers a broad range of homeopathic medicines, ensuring comprehensive care for its patients.
